THE SOTM LIFE SKILLS CONCEPT
The SOTM Life Skills concept is about healing your past while staying present in designing your future.
D. Dor, M.A. LPC, believes and teaches the Life Skills Concept
Life Skills is about healing your intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual self.
Life Skills is about learning all the coping skills you did not learn in school, but needed with each season of life.
Life Skills is about changing a hopeless life into a hopeful purposeful life.
Life Skills is about using the lessons of life good or bad to build a bridge into your next season of life.
Life Skills is about being able to live your life consciously in every moment.
Life Skills is not about learning some new techniques, but understanding why old ones are not working.
Life Skills is about identifying and allowing the release of past patterns and conditioning which may no longer serve you.
The SOTM Life Skills concept is based on assisting individuals in developing their absolute best. SOTM recognizes the limitless influence of healthy men and women to our communities, families, churches and workplace. Therefore SOTM believes it is imperative we pay close attention to the well being of our most valuable community assets – its people. We believe communities cannot grow until its people grow. In that schools, companies, churches, families and communities only succeed when the people that make them up succeed.
