SOTM Life Skills Center: Your Partner in Mental Health

Clinicians- LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, LSC, NP-PMH,

  

Make a lasting impact through therapy and life skills training in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Provide individual, couple, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with SOTM and state standards.
  • Participate in supervision, case consultations, and continuing education to support clinical excellence.
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external providers for holistic client support.
  • Maintain active licensure and ensure ethical and professional standards are upheld.
  • Attend monthly Clinical Meeting.


NOTE:  you MUST have an active, unrestricted, independent fully licensed clinical licensure in your state of residence e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC LP, LPC, LPCC, RN, etc.

Interns & Practicum Students

  Begin your counseling career with hands-on learning under professional supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intakes and assist in ongoing therapy sessions under supervision.
  • Document sessions using proper clinical and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in supervision meetings and training workshops.
  • Support community programs and group facilitation activities.
  • Attend monthly Clinical Meeting.
  • Demonstrate a learning mindset, openness to feedback, and professional growth.

Client Care Specialists (CCS)

 You are the voice and heart of SOTM — ensuring every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling, reminders, and client follow-up communication.
  • Process billing, copayments, and benefit verifications accurately.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain documentation through chron entries and administrative systems.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless client care and coordination.
  • Attend monthly Clinical Meeting.

Billing & Administrative Support

 Keep the business side of SOTM strong and compliant. Decrease SOTM Monthly MLOT

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submit and track insurance claims and EOBs using SimplePractice.
  • Perform payment posting, ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Communicate with payers and clients regarding balances and payment plans.
  • Identify billing errors and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all compliance and HIPAA standards.

Social Media Assistant

 Spread the message of resilience and growth across all SOTM digital platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership on campaigns highlighting SOTM programs and values.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and respond to community interactions.
  • Assist in creating branded visuals and short-form video content.
  • Maintain consistent voice, style, and adherence to SOTM brand identity.

Program Assistants

  Support the coordination and facilitation of SOTM counseling sessions, workshops, and community programs, combining strong organization with compassionate client engagement to reflect SOTM’s mission of growth and resilience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Assist clinicians and facilitators in preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and managing group sessions.
  • Support the design and facilitation of counseling sessions, workshops, and community programs to enhance client participation and outcomes.
  • Track attendance, collect feedback, and document program data for evaluation and reporting.
  • Provide on-site or virtual assistance during group sessions to ensure a professional and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical and CCS Teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent client care across programs.

Front Desk & Reception

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain up-to-date client records.
  • Handle daily mail, deliveries, and internal communication.
  • Support the Client Care and Clinical teams with administrative needs.

Cleaning & Maintenance

 A safe, clean environment supports healing — and your role keeps that standard alive every day.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize therapy rooms, restrooms, and communal spaces daily.
  • Refill supplies such as soap, paper products, and water/mint stations.
  • Sweep outdoor areas and remove debris to maintain curb appeal.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the office manager promptly.
  • Uphold SOTM’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, and client comfort..
